border patrol

This border doesn't quite fit the length of the wall. The solution is to cut border pieces to the length of the wall with the printed pattern centered. A piece of corner molding can then be used to cover the mis-aligned pattern in the corner. Alternately, a piece of the border pattern cut to a strategic size could be used in place of the molding to cover the corner seam.

Coral Reef Design

Stay posted as this mural project is nearing completion.

Family Mural Project

This over-the-top mural design was a blast. For a sense of scale, their are two light switches on the far left and far right of the image.

Pixie's original design called for blocks rotated diagonally and separated by white (or wall-colored) stripes. Each block was assigned a main color and family members were invited to choose the imagery for each. The result is a colorful homage bursting with interesting things.
From the top, left to right:
1. A Lego mini-figure (not to scale).
2. A pennant of The Washington Redskins.
3. One of Dusty's Tree Fairies.
4. The Ocean with jellyfish.
5. An Egyptian Pyramid and Stargate from the Stargate SG-1 TV series.
6. Pink Floyds 'Animals' album cover.
7. Pokemon and friends.
8. Sherlock Holmes' pipe, magnifying glass and a message written with Dancing Men.
9. The symbol of the Deathly Hallows from Harry Potter.
10. A volcano.
11. The USS Enterprise 1701 from the original Star Trek TV series.
